
For many Nigerians, the emergence of the COVID-19 pandemic has exposed the importance of the Internet and digital technologies ashe theme “Advancing Digital Transformation and Trust in Nigeria” as a community of Nigeria Internet Stakeholders.
As digital transformation evolves, the focus from both the business and the policy communities is shifting from understanding the effect and impact of COVID19 on our lives/activities, to working towards an Internet that works for everyone, highlighting the rights, responsibilities and opportunities for all stakeholders, including women and the youth.
In a statement signed by Muhammad Rudman, the Chair, Nigeria Internet Governance Forum Multi-stakeholder Advisory Group (NIGF MAG), he confirmed that the 10th annual Edition of the Nigeria Internet Governance Forum, organised by the NIGF-MAG, will be a hybrid experience and holds on the 14th and 15th of September, 2022.
Professor Isa Pantami, the Minister of Communications and Digital Economy and his team are breaking records on Digital Transformation and Trust in the industry with its inclusive approach to developing relevant policies and supporting platforms to discuss, engage and demands that define capacity needed for growth and development.
