BALI, INDONESIA — As members of the global Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) community gather in the tropical setting of Bali for ICANN87, the At-Large Advisory Committee (ALAC) and At-Large community are calling on all attendees to actively participate in shaping the future of Internet governance.
With momentum building toward the 4th At-Large Summit (ATLAS IV), ICANN87 serves as a key milestone to align community priorities, amplify end-user representation, and empower local perspectives within the ICANN ecosystem.
Building Momentum for ATLAS IV
ATLAS IV represents a vital gathering designed to strengthen the voice of individual Internet users globally. To build awareness, alignment, and anticipation for the upcoming summit, At-Large leaders are inviting all meeting attendees—from veteran community leaders and regional delegates to first-time participants—to visit the At-Large Booth throughout ICANN87.
“ATLAS IV is not just another event—it is a vital milestone designed to align our priorities, strengthen end-user representation, and empower local voices within the global ICANN ecosystem.”
Share Your Voice: How to Get Involved
Located in the main exhibition and networking area, the At-Large Booth will serve as an interactive hub for gathering community perspectives. Attendees are encouraged to stop by to share their insights, record brief video statements, or submit written responses to key prompts:
- For At-Large Leaders:“In one sentence, what is ATLAS IV and why does it matter?”
- For All Participants:“Why are you joining ATLAS IV?”
- For Regional Participants:“What are you most looking forward to at ATLAS IV?”
- For First-Time Attendees:“What does it mean to attend ATLAS for the first time?”
- Regional Spotlight Campaign:“What is one thing you hope to bring to ATLAS IV from your region?”(Format: “I’m [Name] from [RALO/Region]…”)
Insights gathered during ICANN87 will be featured across upcoming ATLAS IV awareness campaigns and communication channels.
Chart the Path Forward
Community members are encouraged to visit the booth at any time during the meeting to connect with fellow end-user advocates, share regional perspectives, and help chart a clear path forward for Internet users worldwide. Further details and updates will be shared by staff throughout the week.
