GED 2023: Call for Encryption Advocates.

Encryption is essential for protecting our privacy and security online. It is used to secure our communications, our financial transactions, and our personal data.
However, encryption is under attack. Governments around the world are seeking to weaken or ban encryption, citing concerns about national security and crime prevention.
That is why we need encryption advocates to step forward and help educate legislators and students about the importance of encryption.
We are calling for encryption advocates to join a council that will train legislators and students about encryption. The council will develop training materials, deliver presentations, and answer questions about encryption.
The council will be made up of experts in encryption, including technologists, lawyers, and academics. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about encryption and who are willing to share their knowledge with others.
If you are interested in participating in the council, please submit an expression of interest to ews@sendiwsa.org. Your expression of interest should include your name, contact information, and a brief description of your experience with encryption.
Why is this important?
Encryption is essential for protecting our privacy and security online. It is used to secure our communications, our financial transactions, and our personal data.
However, encryption is under attack. Governments around the world are seeking to weaken or ban encryption, citing concerns about national security and crime prevention.
If encryption is weakened or banned, it will make it easier for governments and criminals to spy on our communications and steal our data. It will also make it more difficult for us to protect ourselves from cybercrime.
That is why it is so important to educate stakeholders about the importance of encryption. We need to make sure that our elected officials understand the benefits of encryption and the risks of weakening or banning it. We also need to educate our future leaders about the importance of encryption and how to use it to protect their privacy and security.
How can you help?
If you are an encryption advocate, you can help by joining the council to train Stakeholders about encryption. The council will develop training materials, deliver presentations, and answer questions about encryption.
You can also help by educating your friends and family about the importance of encryption. You can also contact your elected officials and urge them to support encryption.
Every little bit helps. By working together, we can protect encryption and ensure that everyone has the right to privacy and security online.
