The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) is gearing up for its 84th Public Meeting, ICANN84, set to take place in Dublin, Ireland, from 25 to 30 October 2025. Stakeholders are strongly encouraged to note the critical dates and pre-meeting requirements to ensure smooth participation.
Essential Dates and Location
The official meeting is preceded by a virtual Prep Week scheduled for 13–15 October 2025.
The main ICANN84 event will run from 25–30 October 2025 in Dublin.
Mandatory Pre-Registration and Deadlines
A crucial detail for all prospective attendees is the strict registration deadline for in-person attendance:
- The deadline for IN-PERSON registration is 24 October 2025.
Important Note: On-site registration will NOT be available for ICANN84. All participants must register beforehand. Registration details, including general information about Dublin, hotels, transportation, and food options, are available on the main meeting registration page.
The Meeting Schedule and Participation Tools
The full schedule for ICANN84 can be viewed on sched.com. Attendees should be aware that registration for ICANN84 does not automatically create a user account on sched.com. Participants must follow the instructions provided to personalize their schedules.
Attendees should also note that no individual calendar invitations will be sent for sessions. Instead, the meeting schedule allows participants to download all sessions of interest directly to their personal calendars.
For seamless virtual participation, attendees are reminded to review the Participation Tools page and update to the latest version of Zoom well in advance. Access details for Zoom rooms will be made available 24 hours prior to the start of each session.
