Project: “Secure Your World” – A Community Toolkit for Understanding Mobile Encryption
Are you a voice-over artist who can make complex topics simple and engaging? We’re looking for a talented and approachable voice to bring our “Secure Your World” toolkit to life. This project aims to demystify mobile encryption through a series of explainer videos and audiobooks, making digital security accessible to everyone.
About the Project
“Secure Your World” is a community-focused toolkit designed for everyday mobile phone users. Our goal is to empower individuals in local communities—from students to small business owners—with the knowledge and skills to protect their personal information and ensure safe digital communication. The toolkit includes short, animated videos and easy-to-follow audiobooks that explain why encryption matters and how to use it in daily life.
Who We’re Looking For
We need a voice that is:
- Warm and Friendly: The voice should sound like a trusted friend or neighbor, not a technical expert.
- Clear and Accessible: You must be able to deliver information in a simple, straightforward manner without using jargon.
- Relatable: The tone should resonate with a diverse audience, including parents, teachers, and community leaders.
- Engaging: You must be able to hold the listener’s attention through a conversational and dynamic delivery.
Voice-Over Requirements
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- Accent: Open to a variety of accents, but must be clear and easily understood by a general audience.
- Tone: Approachable, calm, and reassuring.
- Experience: Previous experience in educational or public service voice-overs is a plus, but not required. We prioritize the ability to communicate with warmth and clarity.
How to Apply
Please submit the following:
- A brief introduction of yourself and why you’re interested in this project.
- A link to your voice-over demo reel.
- A short voice recording (1–2 minutes) reading from the provided sample script below.
Sample Script:
“Your mobile phone holds so much of your life—messages with friends, photos of your family, and important work documents. But have you ever wondered how to keep all that information safe? This toolkit will show you how. We’ll explore simple ways to protect your privacy and ensure that what you share stays private. It’s not about being a tech expert. It’s about securing your world, one simple step at a time.”
