RightsCON is thrilled to launch its first-ever literature showcase for RightsCon 2025 (Taipei and online, February 24-27): Stop Surveillance Copaganda! Do you or someone you know want to share a short fiction story on surveillance, be published in two amazing outlets, and inspire a new toolkit?
Together with Fight for the Future, Strange Horizons, and COMPOST Magazine, we invite you to showcase your creativity, highlighting the realities and harms of surveillance technologies. Five short fiction stories will be selected for publication and used to create an anti-surveillance toolkit at the summit, and one author will receive an expenses-paid trip to RightsCon 2025 in Taipei.
Share your submissions by November 21, and you will hear back by December 2024. For the full prompt, how to submit, and more details, head over to StopCopaganda.org.
We can’t wait to read your stories!
Luis, Jiye, and the RightsCon team
