(ISC)² Pledges One Million FREE (ISC)² Certified in Cybersecurity℠ Courses and Exams

As part of it’s commitment to help close the cybersecurity workforce gap and diversify those working in the field, (ISC)² is offering FREE Certification in Cybersecurity (CC) Online Self-Paced Training and Exams to one million people.
The International Information System Security Certification Consortium, or (ISC)², is a non-profit organization which specializes in training and certifications for cybersecurity professionals. It has been described as the “world’s largest IT security organization”. (ISC)² is nonprofit membership association is for information security leaders like you. They’re committed to helping the global village while offering a membership. Members learn, grow and thrive. More than 168,000 certified members strong, They empower professionals who touch every aspect of information security.
They have also committed to educating the general public through its support of The Center for Cyber Safety and Education. It is not news that protecting information is everyone’s job — not just IT’s job!
To encourage diversity, equity and inclusion in the workforce, (ISC)² will be working closely with partner organizations as part of its’ program to reach populations underrepresented in cybersecurity. They’ve pledged half of their commitment – 500,000 course enrollments and exams – to this effort.
