The .ng Awards celebrate the achievements and innovation of Nigerian Internet initiatives. The awards aim to showcase Nigerian businesses, individuals, charities, public and private sector organizations which help to make the Internet a more secure, open, accessible and rewarding experience for all. The Nigeria Internet Registration Association (NIRA) which is a self-regulating body that manages the .ng country code top level domain (ccTLD) held it’s 5th .ng awards on Friday 29th April,2022 in Ikeja, Lagos state.
The 5th .ng NiRA Awards was executed in style. As usual, important figures were in attendance to honor the invite. Mr Muhammad Rudman, President of NIRA in his welcome address, commended the various organizations that proudly projected their businesses using the .ng brand over the years. He believes that using the .ng string goes a long way to show-off Nigeria across the globe.
