Apart from ccTLDs, the Domain Space is filled with fast evolving Generic Top Level Domain Names (gTLDs). Where do you belong in the circle of the Internet?
In 2001, we came into the Media Space (Aspiring Newbies) with Pen and Paper. We only hoped that we could make a difference; We did!
We started the Sphinx Media (TSM). We had the biggest Media Board, standing a ruler taller under the Afrika’s Amphi Theater in Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife (our silicon valley). Elections got us looking for our board, hidden for personal interest.
Fast forward to 2006, we joined NiRA as Statesmen Foundation Inc. We hoped we could be the difference. It showed us troubled waters ahead. Institutions scaling to be better than each other, while we actually needed each other more. It was a challenging period for Africa as a whole. Media Agencies sprouted up to become Experts, working deligently to make the real count in the race for productivity in a shadow; just then, we saw the need.
In 2011, we discovered that the number of African Countries involved in the DNS Industry was low compared to other continents. We did our best to make the race fruitful. Today, we are proud to say that our relevance since 2013 is not forgotten.
